杏运娱乐在汉语拼音中，作声母兼韻母元音时则写作〔yu〕；作韵母的时候，若聲母可接「ㄨ」也可接「ㄩ」時（如「ㄌ」）写作〔ü〕，其餘寫作〔u〕（例如「ㄐ」不可能接「ㄨ」，所以「ㄐㄩ」寫作〔ju〕而非〔jü〕），鍵盤無法輸入「ü」時，以「v」代替；若譯作外語而外語字母不支援「ü」時（如英語無此符號），則寫為「yu」，例如「呂」〔lü〕寫為「lyu」。在通用拼音中，不管位置如何，全寫為〔yu〕，並不使用「ü」。在威妥瑪拼音中，作聲母兼韻母元音全寫作〔yü〕，作韻母全寫作〔ü〕；但如同威妥瑪拼音的送氣符號在外語中會省略，〔ü〕在外語中常會省略兩點。

In many places in China, there were temples of the dragon-king. During times of drought, people would pray in the temples that the dragon-king would give rain to the human world. At that time the dragon was a symbol of the supernatural. Later on, it became the ancestor of the highest rulers and symbolised the absolute authority of the feudal emperor. The emperor claimed to be the son of the dragon. All of his personal possessions carried the name "long" and were decorated with various dragon figures. Now dragons decorations can be seen everywhere in China and legends about dragons circulate.

這齣戲在倫敦由史蒂芬·平洛（Steven Pimlott）於1991年重新製作上演，並且錄製了專輯。在開演的時候，約瑟由流行歌手傑森·多諾萬（Jason Donovan）扮演。樂曲以及佈景幾乎相同，比較特別的的方式加入了一段混音製作。
